A coaster is a small mat which can be placed under a glass or mug to protect the surface underneath from liquid stains or marks, from damage by heat, or from chips or dents caused by the base of the mug itself. I absolutely love these coasters. They are a little expensive but they look lovely and you can see the quality in what you pay for.. they are completely felted underneath so it won’t scratch the surfaces and each coaster has 4 little feet that stop it sliding. The only issue is because I got the silver finish they mark easily but they are very easy to wipe clean. Overall happy with my purchase.
